...and it couldn't be better timing. spring has come--oh wait, its always summer here:) anyways, i feel the changing of the seasons still. and its just time to take a day.
so, starting tonight i am beginning my day of guilty pleasures. tomorrow is a national holiday (crazy that its on a tuesday) so we have the day off and i am making the most of it. tonight i stopped by the store and began my time of indulgence.
first stop...the magazine rack. and, oh yes, they had 1 issue of REAL SIMPLE, my absolutely favorite mag! so, without a hesitation i bought that baby up in a heartbeat.
next stop...the cereal isle. where i spent many minutes debating between the wonderful array of sugar-filled cereals. and of course settled on cocoa krispies. i mean who can resist the very cereal that is not only chocolate but turns the white goodness that it touches into the very same wonderful deliciousness that it is? i think that says it all.
third stop...the bakery. oh, my weakness...baked sweet goods. this was an easy choice--a sweet sugary cake roll pastry. simple moist vanilla cake with sugar granuals covering it. asian pastries aren't quite as good as french ones, but they're not half bad for a day of indulgence.
last stop of the night (but def. not of the end of the guilty pleasures)...the fridge, for a cold coke with lime. i love those! and i think i'm addicted to soda again.
so, without hesitation, i immediately consumed the cake and coke and made my way back home. shortly, i will be consuming my cocoa krispies and wonderful chocolate milk--as well as pamper myself with a face mask, toenail painting, and other groomings (guys, i know you don't get this)...and will be sitting and watching Friends episodes and eating cereal until 2 in the morning!
up ahead for tomorrow...the day of guilty pleasures will come to a climax. i am making my way to the Botanical Gardens here on the island to take pics of the amazing tropical flora, eat in the grass, read my magazine, chill out with the Lord, and just be myself by myself.
its time and i'm glad this holiday came at just the right time. the time is now and now is the time :) excuse me, i have to go grab a bowl and milk. the cocoa krispies are calling me.
(i know i haven't written in over a month...and instead of trying to fill you all in on the last month--which would take too much time and too many posts--i've decided to just keep going in the present. i hope to blog more often now...i love to share with all of you!)

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I wish I could have shared in it with you. I love guily pleasures. Plus, eating is one of my favorite things to do. You go girl! Careful with the coke though! That stuff is like drugs. I am weaning myself off:) Hey, you inspired me...i started a blog. They are more fun than I thouhgt.

Welcome to tiny island Singapore!!! Hope you're adjusting well to the climate. One thing for sure, the heat here just makes drinking a cold can of coke a whole lot better! ;)
