...Last night we hosted a fabulous birthday party at our apartment for our friend, Christina. She's from the states, studying here in Paris for the year. She's an amazing Christian woman and we are so excited to have met her here and to be able to have great fellowship with her. It was an intimate party with around 10 people. We ate pasta (thanks Heidi and Michelle), cookies (way to go cookie team!!), sang Christmas songs with the guitar (thanks Christina), and enjoyed eachother's company. The best part of the whole night (to me) was when we sang the Birthday song. Unfortunately, Christina had to play the guitar for her own birthday song...but she was a good sport. The cool part...we heard it in SEVEN languages: English, Italian, Turkish, Chinese, Spanish, German, and French of course. It almost gave me goose bumps...I'm so lucky to be able to interact with so many people from so many countries and cultures. What an opportunity! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINA!!!!
